Event Description:
Leap of Kindness Day: On Saturday, February 29, 2020, we all get one additional day, with this year being a Leap Year. What will you do with your extra day in 2020? Join in on the #LeapOfKindnessDay celebration!
Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce started this movement in 2016 and GrowthZone in Nisswa is joining the movement this year.
What/When:
Between Tuesday, Feb. 18 - Friday, Feb. 28, GrowthZone will host a community Leap of Kindness drive to gather critical supplies for two local causes:
- The Salvation Army Store in Brainerd (a Brainerd Chamber member) – here is a list of the type of items that can be donated:
- The Salvation Army Food Shelf - donate non-perishable foods.
To participate, bring donation items to our office drop-off location between 8-5 M-F through 2/27 at noon. The front lobby of GrowthZone will be the collection location.
On Friday, February 28, we will pack the items collected and prepare for delivery.
